Sot KQZ vendosi se takimi i zhvilluar në datën 4 prill në ambientet e TKOB ku merrte pjesë ministrja e kulturës Margariti dhe kryetari i bashkisë Erion Veliaj ishte aktivitet publik që sipas Kodit Zgjedhor dhe duhej të raportohej nga Ministria Kulturës. Mos raportimi i këtij aktiviteti sipas Komisionerit Shtetëror i Zgjedhjeve përbën shkelje dhe duhet sanksionuar me gjobë.
Ne ankimuam pranë KQZ për këtë aktivitet të zhvilluar dhe kërkuam sanksione ndaj Bashkisë, Ministrisë së Kulturës si dhe TKOB. KQZ përcaktoi me përgjegjësi vetëm Ministrinë e Kulturës, që përbën për ne një fitore të pjesshme e megjithatë të rëndësishme. Përdorimi i ambienteve të institucioneve për fushatë pa raportimin pranë KQZ, është e ndaluar dhe përbën shkelje të Kodit Zgjedhor.

Today, the CEC decided in the session that the meeting held on April 4 at the TKOB premises of the Minister of Culture Margariti and the Mayor Erion Veliaj had an electoral nature and that it should be reported. According to the CEC, this constitutes a violation.
We complained to the CEC about this activity and requested sanctions against the Municipality, the Ministry of Culture and the theater institution. The CEC designated only the Ministry of Culture with responsibility, which is a partial but nevertheless important victory for us. The use of institutions’ facilities for campaigning without reporting to the CEC at least four months before the elections is prohibited and constitutes a violation of the law.
