Bashkë me Irenën, Xhoin dhe Kristianën diskutuam me Besmira Pelushajn në Report Tv mbi situatën e dhunës me bazë gjinore. Avokati i Drejtësi Sociale shprehu se, përsa i përket kuadrit ligjor kundër dhunës me bazë gjinore, është nga më të mirat në rajon, por problem është financimi dhe zbatimi i këtyre ligjeve.
Shpesh gjykatat nuk bëjnë një vlerësim të plotë të fakteve dhe provave, si dhe japin urdhëra mbrojtje të paefektshme dhe të pazbatueshme. Rritja e buxhetit për mbështetjen e grave me urdhër mbrojtje do të shmangte rikthimin e tyre tek dhunuesit.
Forcimi i koordinimit shumë-sektorial të ofruesve të shërbimeve në nivel vendor për të mbështetur individët në nevojë, përfshirë të mbijetuarat / it e dhunës me bazë gjinore dhe dhunës në familje, është një nga qëllimet kryesore të programit “Fuqizojmë Komunitetin”, financuar nga USAID dhe zbatuar nga UNDP Albania në partneritet me Bashkinë Durrës dhe “Drejtësi Sociale”.
Nuk ka #asnjëjustifikim për dhunë ndaj grave dhe vajzave!

Together with Irena, Xhoi and Kristiana, we discussed the situation of gender-based violence with Besmira Pelushaj on Report Tv. The Social Justice Lawyer stated that, in terms of the legal framework against gender-based violence, it is one of the best in the region, but the problem is the financing and implementation of these laws.
Courts often fail to fully evaluate the facts and evidence, and issue ineffective and unenforceable protective orders. Increasing the budget for the support of women with a protection order would avoid their return to the abusers.
Strengthening the multi-sectorial coordination of service providers at the local level to support vulnerable individuals, including survivors of gender-based violence and domestic violence, is one of the main goals of the “Improving Community Resilience” programme, funded by USAID and implemented by UNDP Albania in partnership with Durrës Municipality and “Social Justice”.
There is #NoExcuse for violence against women and girls!
